Apply for loans and grants from the loan fund
Should you apply for loans and grants from the loan fund, but have many questions in your head that you would like to have answered?
Many people wonder about how much they can get in higher education loans, and the answer to that is usually:
Students in full-time education can receive USD 82 900 in basic support for the school year. The basic support is given as a loan.
Those who are away from home, pass the exam and do not have income, social security or wealth over the free allowances, you can get up to 40 per cent of the basic support for educational grants. Home residents are not entitled to educational grants.
In addition, you can receive travel grants, support grants and extra loans for school fees.
If you are a resident,
You will receive up to 40 percent of your education scholarship when you pass the exam / complete the education. The scholarship will also be tested against income, social security and wealth when the equation for the year you studied is ready.
If you live at home with your parents,
You are not entitled to educational grants, unless you are married or have children. You are considered to be living with your parents if you live in the same house. Exceptions are made if you live in different units in a house with at least five independent and clearly separated living units. You are also considered a home resident if you live in a home that belongs to the house where your parents live, such as a union home.
If you need a loan to just regular high school and wonder how much you can get is the answer:
That this depends on the income and wealth of your parents, and whether you live with your parents. If you pay school fees, you can get extra loans to cover these.
